About Us

Xtreme is a carnival band formed in 2008 by a group of London based St Lucian carnival enthusiasts.  The idea was formulated to transport the streets of St Lucia to the Notting Hill carnival, bringing with them the sheer vibrancy of their dynamic costumes, infusing their own genre of the cadence of Soca songs interwoven with the rhythmic sound of steel and brass music, and the throbbing booms of a heavy bass forcing hearts to pump to those beats, all mixing together in the maelstrom of what is ultimately a Caribbean bacchanal in the heart of Notting Hill.

Our goal has been to continually innovate, thereby encouraging a new generation of all ethnic groups to experience and participate in this unique art form.  As a group, we have welcomed all those who have wanted to immerse themselves in the industry of carnival, from the idea formulation to the creation of a costume prototype, batch costume production and management of the event for the carnival extravaganza.

In essence, it is an experience of a lifetime, providing a totally XTREME package with XTREME fun, XTREME entertainment and… an XTREME Carnival!!!!!!
